As part of Dasara-2023 celebrations, the Horticulture Department, in association with District Horticulture Society, will be organising Dasara Flower Show from Oct. 15 to Oct. 24 at Nishad Bagh (Kuppanna Park) in city.
The Department has invited entries from members of the public, enterprises, establishments and organisations for exhibiting orchids, anthurium, bonsai and such other exotic plant species at the Flower Show.
Those interested in exhibiting their exotic plant collections at the Dasara Flower Show, may register at the District Horticulture Society Office in Curzon Park before Oct. 5.
Also, large scale industries in Mysuru have been invited to take part in the Flower Show by registering at the District Horticulture Society Office before Oct. 5.
Competitions
Entries have been invited from Industries, Educational Institutions, Administrative Officer’s Office, Hostel Gardens, Private Gardens, Home Gardens and others to take part in the Horticulture Competition to be held between Oct. 5 and 7.
Entry forms are being issued at the District Horticulture Society Office in Curzon Park from Sept. 8 to Sept. 30. Those interested may register their name and address at the Office and receive the receipts, according to a press release from the Horticulture Department.
