The Women and Child Development Department has invited applications from individual women and organisations who have achieved extraordinarily in the field of women development, education, sports, art and literature for Kittur Rani Chennamma Award for 2022-23.
Applicants should have served for a minimum period of five years in the above mentioned fields. Women who have exhibited outstanding courage in rescuing lives by risking their own lives with time sense/consciousness are eligible to apply for Veera Mahile Bravery Award.
Kittur Rani Chennamma Award and Veera Mahile Bravery Award will be presented on Mar. 8 marking the annual International Women’s Day celebration.
