Mysore/Mysuru: The Department of Youth Empowerment and Sports (DYES) has invited applications from sports mentors for Kreeda Poshaka Award for the year 2023-24.
The sports mentors who have contributed in the achievement of sports persons for five years in both national and international levels are eligible to apply for the award.
Along with the application format, a self-attested report on achievement, awards, certificates along with the year, should be submitted. The past recipients of the award are not eligible to apply.
Ekalavya Award
DYES has also invited applications from eligible sportspersons for Ekalavya Award.
The sports meets organised by the sports associations recognised by Union Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports and the certificates issued by them, will only be considered for the award.
The candidate should be a resident of Karnataka and should have represented the country at least for one year in international-level sports meet and the State in national level sports meet. They should also submit the copy of Visa to substantiate their participation in international level sports meet.
For five years, the sports persons should have represented the State in national-level sports meet and should submit the domicile certificate along with the application. It is mandatory to submit Police Verification Certificate on not having any criminal antecedents. The last date to submit the application is Sept. 15, 2024.
