The Department of Visual Communication of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham – School of Arts and Sciences, Mysuru Campus, has organised ‘Cinerama-2023,’ a two-day National-level Short Film Festival at its premises in Bogadi 2nd Stage on March 10 and 11. The Fest aims to provide exposure for students to showcase their talent and skills in making short films.
Students from across the country may send their entries for the two-day Fest.
Three Best Short Films will be awarded cash prizes of Rs. 10,000, Rs. 7,000 and Rs. 5,000 respectively. Apart from that, cash prize of Rs. 4,000 each will be presented in special category for Best Director, Best Performer, Best Cinematographer and Best Editor.
Mobile Category: Students may also submit short films shot in mobile phones under ‘Mobile Category.’ Two Best Mobile Short Films will be awarded cash prizes of Rs. 5,000 and Rs. 3,000 respectively.
