EPS-95 pensioners hold meeting

Mysore/Mysuru: A meeting of EPS-95 Pensioners from Mysuru, Mandya, Chamarajanagar and Bengaluru districts was held at Sri Nataraja Bhavan here on Sunday.

Addressing the meeting, National Agitation Committee (NAC) National Secretary Manjunath Chintamani said that both the Centre and the EPFO have been cheating the EPS-95 pensioners. The national leaders are working out plans on providing pension out of our own money, he added.

NAC Legal Advisor Nanjundegowda, in his address, said that the EPFO has been cheating the pensioners by not working within the legal framework and also not implementing the SC order on EPS-95 pension.

Pointing out that this will be brought to the notice of the Government and the Court, he said that the pensioners will get additional pension soon.

NAC National Organiser Ramakant Nargund, in his address, said that the minimum pension to EPS-95 pensioners will soon be decided. A NAC team will soon visit Delhi for holding talks with the Centre in this regard,  he added.

Vasu, Nagaraj of Sugar Federation, Manjunath of KSRTC, Subbanna, Shadakshari and others were present.
