On the occasion of former Prime Minister late Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s birthday, Mysuru City and District BJP Yuva Morcha have organised essay writing and rangoli competitions on Dec.25, said City and District BJP Yuva Morcha Vice-President Kartik Mariyappa at a press meet held at Patrakartara Bhavan recently. The competitions will be held at Sri Siddappaji Temple Park, Kalpavrukshanagara, Kurimandi 3rd Stage, Kesare, at 9.30 am. Those aged above 13 years can participate in essay writing and there is no age limit for rangoli competition.
Participants can write essays on topics like “Bharata Kanda Hemmeya Pradhani Atal Bihari Vajpayee” or “Rajakeeya Rangada Ajata Shatru Atal Bihari Vajpayee” or “Abhivruddhi Bharatadalli Atal Bihari Vajpayee Avara Patra” or “Bhavya Bharatadalli Atal Bihari Vajpayee Avara Patra.” Rangoli contestants can draw rangoli to depict Patriotism and Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Both the competitions will have 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes comprising cash awards of Rs.4,000, Rs.2,000 and Rs.1,000 respectively. There will be no entry fee to participate in the competitions.
