European violin concert tour

Mysuru: Renowned Violin Maestro Dr. Mysore Manjunath and his daughter, violinist Malavi Manjunath, are scheduled to go on European violin concert tour later this week. They are set to perform at several prestigious venues across Europe in over six countries.

Dr. Manjunath, who has enthralled audiences across the globe, is invited to conduct a music workshop at the University of Utrecht in Netherlands this time.

The duo will perform at iconic locations including Vondelkerk Amsterdam, Jazz Festival in Ruigoord, Zoetermeer in Netherlands, Conservatoire Indien de Paris, Anton Graff Strasse in Zurich and other venues in Switzerland and France.

Renowned European Musicians Ned Mcgowan, Heiko Dijker and Mark Tuinstra will also join the duo in a couple of collaborative concerts.

This is the maiden concert tour of Europe for Malavi, who has recently finished her concert tours of Sri Lanka and Nepal. Her artistic journey from early promise to brilliant execution has been widely acclaimed and her dedication to the art and her soulful improvisations make her a rising star in the global classical music scene.

While Malavi is studying at Vijaya Vittala Vidyashala, Dr. Manjunath is on the faculty at Fine Arts College, University of Mysore.
