Mysore/Mysuru: A week after the SSLC exams of the State Board got over, the evaluation of answer scripts began at seven centres across the city yesterday (Apr.21).
The SSLC exam (2022-23) was held across the State from Mar.31 to Apr.15.
The evaluation centres in the city are: Gopalaswamy Higher Primary and High School, Lakshmipuram, Cauvery PU College, Adichunchanagiri road, Kuvempunagar, Jnanaganga High School, Kuvempunagar, Good Shepherd Convent, Lashkar Mohalla, St. Philomena’s High School, N.R. Mohalla, Nirmala High School (formerly Nirmala Convent), Vontikoppal and GSSS Bantwal Madhava Shenoy High School, Siddarthanagar.
The evaluation of answer scripts will go on till Apr. 30 in the city. The valuation is being done by Assistant Examiners, who after evaluation, will forward the answer scripts to Deputy Chief Examiners.
The Police have provided tight security around all the seven centres for ensuring smooth conduct of evaluation.
As a precautionary measure, the Police have clamped prohibitory orders under Section 144 of CrPC in 200 mts. radius of all the centres from 6 am till 6 pm on all days from Apr. 21 to 30. Accordingly, barring the evaluation staff, no other unauthorised person is allowed to the centres.
The Education Department has planned to announce the SSLC results in the first week of May.
