Eve-teasing: Youth thrashed by public in MCC premises

Mysuru:  A youth accused of teasing a woman was beaten black and blue by the woman’s husband and members of the public at MCC premises here yesterday.

It is learnt that the woman, who runs a shop at the foot of Chamundi Hill, was being teased by the youth. Yesterday afternoon, the woman’s husband, who saw the                                                                                                youth in MCC premises, caught hold of him and began to thrash him. The public, who came to know about the incident, surrounded the youth and joined the husband in thrashing him. He was let off after he apologised for his behaviour.

However, no complaint has been registered.
