Ambedkar’s grandson Dr. Bhimarao Yashwantrao Ambedkar, who is also the Working President of the Bharatiya Bouddha Mahasabha, inaugurates the convention by garlanding the statue of Dr. Ambedkar at the Town Hall premises, 9 am; ‘Dhamma Nadige’ (Rally) to Lalitha Mahal Palace Grounds, Convention at Lalitha Mahal Palace Grounds, 11.30 am; Buddha Sahitya Goshti, 3.30 pm; Staging of play ‘Devanampriya Ashoka,’ 6 pm.
