H. Balakrishna (73), an ex-serviceman and a resident of Sharadadevinagar, passed away yesterday in city.
He had served in the Indian Army for more than 20 years at Kashmir, Chennai and Secunderabad before retiring from service.
A native of Hassan, he leaves behind his wife Anusuya, daughters Rekha and Rashmi and a host of relatives and friends.
Last rites were held at the foot of Chamundi Hill this mornings.
