Mysuru/Mysore:- Young Indians Mysore in association with CII – Industry Institute Interaction Panel (CII-IIIP), Mysuru, had organised an Ideathon on Social Innovation for Professors at SJCE campus recently.
The event focused on product and process innovation to improve Mysuru city with regard to urban planning, pollution control, sanitation, Swachh Nagari etc.
The faculty of Christ College, Mysuru — Angela Teresa Kalloli, faculty of English, Rani Susan Varughese, faculty of Psychology and M.S. Glint John, faculty of English — participated in the event and won the second place with certificates and cash prize.
They competed with a total of 15 teams from various Colleges around the city. Their theme was ‘Smart waste management’ and they presented Mysuru Junction as a prototype for a smart and sustainable Mysuru, according to a press release.
