Mysuru: City skater Esther Prasanna Bernard recently participated in the New York City (NYC) Skate 5K Marathon at Brooklyn in New York and won a silver medal.
The 42-year-old is the present National Champion in Masters Category and has won more than 100-plus gold medals till date.
Daughter of Prasanna Kumar and Raji Prasanna, she is the wife of Rajesh Bernard and a proud mother of Juan and Ean.
She was trained by late Sridhar Rao and former International Skater Srikantha Rao of Mysuru and is presently running Esther Roller Skating Club at Bengaluru.
