Lakshit Dayananda, a second standard student of Delhi Public School, Mysuru, who took part in the Karnataka State Schools Chess Championship organised by ‘First Move’ at Vijaya Vittala Vidyashala in August, secured 1st place by winning 7 out of 7 rounds and remained unbeatable in Under-7 Category.
He will be representing Karnataka at National Schools Championship to be held at Bihar.
Lakshit is the son of Dr. Dayananda and Shruthi, residents of Siddartha Layout in city.
