Mysuru: A free check-up camp on general and reproductive health was conducted at RUDSETI, Mysuru premises recently in which general public actively participated and had first-hand information about the activities of Family Planning Association of India (FPAI), Mysuru Chapter.
The programme was inaugurated at the hands of G. Selvam, Director, RUDSETI, Mysuru. In his inaugural address, he informed the objectives of the programme and called on the public to make use of this workshop. He also informed about the RUDSETI and its activities.
Dr. K.V. Lakshmi Devi, Member, FPAI, Mysuru, informed about the reproductive health and measures to be taken-up to maintain the general health. She called on them to get nutritious food to maintain good health.
H.S. Krishnamurthy, former Director, NAR, Bengaluru, in his presidential address, expressed happiness about the programme being conducted and thanked FPAI for taking an initiative for such programmes to sensitise the general public.
D.S. Shashikumar, Hon. Secretary, FPAI and Jayashree M. Urs, President, FPAI, Mysuru chapter, were present.
