Mysore/Mysuru: MyMUL Managing Director B.N. Vijaykumar was given a warm farewell upon his retirement at a simple ceremony held at its premises here recently.
Speaking after being felicitated, Vijaykumar said that he began his career in KMF (Karnataka Milk Federation) as a Technical Officer at Shiva- mogga in 1987.
He later served at Davangere, Ballari and Bengaluru for a total of 7 years, during which many popular Nandini products such as Mysore Pak were introduced in the markets. In 2004, he served in NMP Quality Control Section and in 2008, he introduced Nandini Goodlife product in other States.
Vijaykumar further said that he played a key role in the establishment of new KMF Plant at Channarayapatna in 2010, following which he served as the KMF Managing Director at Kalaburagi, during which the Dairy recorded a profit of Rs. 2 crore by enhancing milk procurement.
The other development works that took place included establishment of 4 new machineries at Dempodi, Mangaluru and setting up of 10 lakh litre processing capacity plant at Ramanagara.
He also recalled his services at Mysuru and thanked everyone for their support.
