Mysuru: The Fashion Designing Department of Teresian Community College, Mysuru, had organised a three-day workshop on Fashion Designing for housewives and students at its premises in city recently.
Simtha Guptha, Fevicryl Teacher, was the resource person. The workshop which gave an opportunity to learn tie and dye painting, pot painting using 3D neon liners, 3D cone works with Kundan Stones, free hand painting on T-shirt and Kurtis.
Speaking after inaugurating the workshop, Dr. Sr. Sajitha, Principal, Teresian Community College, said “No two gardens are the same, no two days are the same and no two moments are the same. Pay attention to the differences” and urged the participants to utilise the opportunity and enhance their creativity.
At the valedictory, Dr. P. M. Shiva Prasad, Director, Teresian Community College, said “besides creative painting, the participants should think of starting a small business as there is a commercial viability for such an art.” The staff and students of the Teresian Community College were present.
