Mysuru: Columbia Asia Hospital, Mysuru, as part of Mother’s Day celebrations, felicitated five mothers and gave the mothers the title ‘The Health Guardian’ at a function organised in the hospital here recently.
The mothers were felicitated based on their exceptional stories as nominated by their children and family.
The gathering was addressed by chief guests former ZP President Dr. Pushpa Amarnath and Vice-President of Sneha Kiran Spastic Society (Mysuru) Dr. Shanti Paul.
“The Health Guardian title is for mothers, who have gone through a lot of sacrifice to ensure health and well-being of family members. Mothers have taken an extra step in promoting health and healthy behaviours and have helped in improving the quality of life of a family member with a chronic illness,” said Col. Rahul Tewari, General Manager, Columbia Asia Hospital, Mysuru.
