Mysore/Mysuru: All tax deductors are required to file the e-TDS returns in Form No.24Q with ANNEXURE II (for tax deducted from salaries), Form No.26Q and 27Q (for tax deducted from payments other than salaries).
These forms require details of all tax deductions made with name and Permanent Account Number (PAN) of parties from whom tax was deducted during the month of January, February and March 2023.
The above forms are required to be filed by the entire Central and State Government Offices, Local Authority, Companies, Financial Institutions, Insurance Companies, Educational Institutions, etc.
The due date for filing 4th Quarter of FY 2022-23 TDS statement is May 31, 2023.
Beyond this date, there will be a levy of late fee of Rs.200 per day till the date of statement filed by the tax deductors, according to a press release from N.D. Shreenivaas of Bhavani Associates, Mysuru.
