Mysuru: Nearly five acres of forest land was destroyed in an accidental fire last night (Jan.19), atop the Chamundi Hill.
One of the public informed the Saraswathipuram Fire Brigade about the forest fire.
The Fire Department Personnel rushed to the spot and put out the fire, thus preventing it from spreading to other parts.
