Mysore/Mysuru: Fire lit by miscreants at Chamundi Hill near Uttanahalli has destroyed dry grass, plants and shrubs grown in about four acres at the Hill on Tuesday.
The fire was noticed at about 7.30 pm on the Hill near Uttanahalli side and 24 Fire and Emergency Services personnel with four fire extinguishing vehicles, along with 20 personnel from the Forest Department, who swung into action, conducted an operation to extinguish the fire and succeeded in dousing it at about 10.30 pm.
