Mysuru: Nanjangud Industries Association, in association with the Department of Factories and Boilers, Industrial Safety and Health, Government of Karnataka, Mysuru Division, has jointly organised the 57th one-day training programme on first-aid for industrial workers and supervisors on Thursday (Feb.8) from 9 am to 5.30 pm at Hotel Shree Guru Residency on JLB Road Cross in city.
The need for first-aid is greater than ever because of the increased use of machines and electric appliances in every day work at home, work place etc.
As per the statutory compliance, in every industry certain number of employees should be trained in first-aid, and they should know the important procedure for treating the casualty.
H. Suresh, Assistant Director of Factories, Industrial Safety and Health, Mysuru Division, will inaugurate the programme which will be presented through lectures, discussions, interactions and demonstrations.
