The first round of administration of polio drops will take place across the district on April 2 (Sunday). The District Administration has set up 1,588 booths to cover 6,94,341 houses. Children aged below 5 years should be administered polio drops, irrespective of the number of times they have been administered with polio drops in the past. 327 supervisors, 6,352 pulse polio workers, 34 transit teams and 16 mobile teams will take part in the drive. The teams will undertake door-to-door visit of houses for two days on April 3 and 4, according to a press release.
