Mysore/Mysuru: Mysore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI), along with various Industrial Associations from Mysuru, has organised a five-day Kaigarika Dasara for the first time in city at various locations from Sept. 26 to 30.
Disclosing this at a press meet at Pathrakartara Bhavan recently, MCCI President K.B. Lingaraju thanked the State Government, District in-Charge Minister S.T. Somashekar and the District Administration for helping them to organise the event. “Kaigarika Dasara will be beneficial to Industrial sectors,” he added.
The five-day programme schedule is as follows:
Sept. 26 and Sept. 27: A two-day Industrial Seminar will be held at Vijnana Bhavan in Manasagangothri premises. Seminar will include discussions on topics like Industrial marketing, export of products and financial assistance under various Government Schemes. Women and SC/ST entrepreneurs will be addressed by the experts from concerned Government Departments and Banks Officials.
Sept. 28: One-day Vendor Development programme and exhibition at MCCI building in Hebbal Industrial Area. Around 25 public sectors of Central and State Governments, Large and Medium Scale Industries will participate. Industrial exhibitors will display their products. An interaction meeting between Large, Medium and Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME) industrialists is also arranged.
Sept. 29 and Sept. 30: Two-day Industrial Tour has been organised for Industrialists and Technical students. They will be taken to 15 MSME Industries on Sept. 29 and 15 large and medium scale industries on Sept. 30.
SC/ST Kaigarikodyamigala Sangha Mysuru President Manju, MCCI Hon. Treasurer S.J. Ashok, Hon. Secretary A.K. Shivaji Rao and Hon. Joint Secretary Vinod Jain were present at the press meet.
