Fix Niveditanagar Park’s uneven pavements

Sir,

I am writing to draw attention to the poor condition of pavements in the city’s parks, a pressing issue affecting many residents of Niveditanagar.

As a concerned citizen, I have seen several seniors struggle to walk on the uneven and poorly maintained pathways. This has led to an increase in leg-related problems and mobility issues among the elderly.

Parks, which are meant to serve as spaces for recreation and relaxation, are turning into obstacles for those who need them the most.

The neglect of pavement maintenance is not only causing physical discomfort but is also discouraging seniors from engaging in regular walking and other forms of physical activity, further affecting their health.

I urge the authorities to prioritise the repair and proper upkeep of these pavements to ensure safe and accessible walking spaces for all citizens, especially the elderly.

Such a step would significantly improve their quality of life and reflect the community’s commitment to their well-being.
