Mysore/Mysuru: Former Mysuru Deputy Commissioner (DC) Abhiram G. Sankar, who is currently serving as the Director of Administrative Training Institute (ATI), Mysuru, was felicitated by FKCCI (Federation of Karnataka Chambers of Commerce and Industry) and MCCI (Mysore Chamber of Commerce and Industry) at a programme organised at ATI premises on Laitha Mahal Road on Tuesday.
Speaking on the occasion, former FKCCI President Sudhakar S. Shetty said that Abhiram Sankar has showed how a honest and efficient officer can bring wonders to the district he/she is serving.
Recalling the diligence of Abhiram Sankar in tackling the deadly COVID-19 pandemic when the contagion cluster broke out in Nanjangud’s Jubilant Factory, Sudhakar Shetty said that the former DC worked hard to arrest the spread of the deadly virus.
Lauding his services to the district as the DC, he said that he was shy of publicity and worked with determination and dedication for addressing contentious issues that haunted the district for long, by taking into confidence all the stakeholders.
MCCI office-bearers Shreeshaila Ramannavar, Ravindraswamy, Ashok, Vinod Jain, Srihari, Mahendra and others were present.
