Flights needed to Shirdi, Ayodhya, Dwarka and Mahabaleshwar

Sir,

It’s great news that our MP Yaduveer Wadiyar is planning to introduce more flights from Mysuru. I suggest introducing direct flights to Shirdi, Ayodhya, Dwarka, Mahabaleshwar and Varanasi at least once a week.

Many people are booking trains three months in advance for these same destinations. KSRTC Flybus services run every hour to Bengaluru, showing significant demand. We are paying Rs. 850 for a one-way journey, and the travel time is around 4 hours.

Additionally, with the rapid growth of the IT sector and MSMEs, many business people are frequently travelling to Mumbai and Delhi. Introducing these flights would greatly benefit both pilgrims and business travellers. The government should consider taking feedback from Flybus and flight passengers at Mysuru Airport. Currently, many people take connecting flights from Chennai and Hyderabad to reach these destinations.
