Mysuru: Mysore Heritage Round Table (MHRT) 109 and Mysore Heritage Ladies Circle (MHLC) 109, in association with Madras Knights Round Table 181 and Color Mate, gave 20 Kukkarahalli Government School children the joy of flying in an airplane for the first time in their life.
The journey began on May 30 when all the children travelled by train and reached Chennai on May 31. In Chennai, Madras Knights Round Table 181 had arranged food and transportation for them. The children visited Marina Beach to enjoy the seashore and then moved to MGM Dizzee World to spend the rest of the day with a whole lot of entertaining rides.
The excitement on the children’s face could not be contained when they reached the airport. The children were very inquisitive to understand and learn the workings of the airport.
On board the airplane, the children interacted with the Air Hostess and took selfies with them.
The event ended in Mysuru where the children were excited to share their experience with their parents and friends.
RT Area 13 Chairman Tr. Siddarth Shastry, MHRT 109 Chairman Tr. Arun Kumar, Area Project Convenor Tr. Mahesh, Tr. Sandeep and Tr. Preetham joined the children to Chennai and back.
