Mysuru: The average occupancy of the Mysuru-Chennai- Hyderabad flight was 50 on both sides, which is considered good, yet suddenly on Nov.16 all flights were suspended from Mysuru Airport. But it has resumed today. However, the Airport Authorities are not sure if the flights will operate tomorrow.
TruJet flights resumed from today as the flight from Chennai landed at 12.10 in the afternoon and departed at 12.40 pm with 22 passengers landing and 26 departing.
Aware of the inconvenience caused to the flyers from Mysuru to Chennai and Hyderabad, Member of the Parliament Pratap Simha speaking to Star of Mysore from Delhi this morning said that he had spoken to the Union Civil Aviation Minister and the CEO of TruJet about the suspension of flights and they had assured that the services would resume at the earliest. He added the stoppage of flights are temporary due to technical glitch.
Meanwhile, Mysore Airport Director Manoj Kumar Singh told Star of Mysore that they were still not sure whether the convenient original evening timings when flights landed at 6.40 pm and departed at 7.05 pm will resume.
