Mysore/Mysuru: Sri Thyagaraja Sangeetha Sabha Charitable Trust has organised a flute concert by Vid. Tejasvi Raghunath on Saturday (Apr.15) at 6.30 pm at Jayanagara Sri Ramamandira on the occasion of Ramanavami music festival.
Profile: Vid. Tejasvi Raghunath is one among the promising flautists of present generation, who has been guided by eminent flautists like, Vid. H.S. Venugopal and Vid. Shashank Subramanyam. Later he learnt vocal music from Vid. Salem Sundereshan. Tejasvi, a recipient of ‘Kalavatamsa’ and many prestigious awards, has performed in India and many platforms abroad.
Vid. Tejasvi will be accompanied on violin by Vid. S. Janardhan Srinath, a disciple of Sangeetha Kalanidhi Vid. A. Kanyakumari and on the mridanga by Vid. Anirudh Bhat, a disciple of veteran percussionist Vid. K.U. Jayachandra Rao. Vid. Sharath Koushik, disciple of Vid. Tumkur B. Ravishankar, will support on ghata.
