Bengaluru: Amid speculations of her entry to politics after retirement as a top bureaucrat, former State Chief Secretary K. Ratna Prabha is all set to join the BJP today.
Ratna Prabha, who retired as Chief Secretary in June this year after a three-month extension, is likely to be fielded as the BJP candidate to take on Congress leader in the Lok Sabha Mallikarjuna Kharge in the 2019 polls.
The BJP which is making all efforts to ensure the defeat of senior Congress leader Kharge in the Kalaburagi Lok Sabha Constituency (SC), hopes to shatter the Congress dreams of gaining more seats from Karnataka in the Lok Sabha polls, by-inducting Ratna Prabha who had earlier served in Hyderabad-Karnataka districts.
