H.D. Kote: Taking time-off from the hassles of politics, former Chief Minister Siddharamaiah arrived here on Sunday for a three-day rest. Siddharamaiah, who landed at Karapura Jungle Lodges and Resorts in the taluk yesterday evening, took rest there for some time, before taking a boat to cross Kabini backwaters to reach Orange County resort, where he will stay for a couple of days.
Siddharamaiah will return to Bengaluru after taking part in a meeting of Congress leaders scheduled to take place at Karapura Jungle Lodges and Resorts on Feb. 2, it is learnt.
MLAs H.P. Manjunath and Anil Chikkamadu, Congress leaders Dr. H.C. Mahadevappa, Venkatesh, G.V. Seetharam, Mariswamy, Ejaz Pasha, Ravishankar, Asif, Siddarama and others welcomed Siddharamaiah.
