Raghuram Bhat, former Indian left-arm leg spinner and stalwart of Indian domestic cricket, who is known for having made Sunil Gavaskar bat left-handed in the final day of the Ranji Trophy semi-final between Mumbai and Karnataka in 1981-82 season, is in city on a two-day coaching session.
A native of Puttur, Bhat is a Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) level-3 coach and spin-coach at National Cricket Academy (NCA).
He is presently giving a two-day free training at Adyayan Cricket Academy in Shaktinagar, Mysuru, today and tomorrow between 10 am and 1 pm. Coaching is for spinners only.
