Former ISRO Chief inaugurates Atal Tinkering Lab in city school

Mysore/Mysuru: Atal Tinkering Lab at The Orchids Public School in Mysuru was inaugurated by A.S. Kiran Kumar, former Chairman of ISRO.

Atal Tinkering Lab is a mission by the Government of India to bring innovative mindset among students. The objective of this scheme is to foster curiosity, creativity and imagination in young minds and inculcate skills such as design mindset, computational thinking, adaptive learning, physical computing, etc.

The students presented different electronic projects. Students, under the guidance of Vijeth, prepared and presented a robot. Students were thrilled to fly drone. The chief guest and parents appreciated students’ work.

Chief guest A.S. Kiran Kumar spoke about the revolution in technology, co-existence with nature and indigenous inventions.

He also told students about hardwork, practice and most importantly curiosity that will help the young generation to come up with spectacular inventions to benefit the mankind.
