Foul smell emanates from manholes in Srirampura III Stage, near BEML Layout arch

Sir,

The excessive flow of sewage and waste drainage fluid in the UGD pipes on V.B. Bakery Road, Srirampura III Stage, 1st Cross, near the BEML Layout arch, has resulted in an unbearable foul smell emanating from the manholes along the road.

Additionally, one of the manholes is filled with heavy muck, obstructing the flow of sewage and waste drainage fluid.

Despite our repeated efforts to contact the officials concerned, we have been met with no response. Even when Mysuru City Corporation personnel finally arrived, they failed to complete the job satisfactorily and showed little interest in rectifying the problem. Subsequent attempts to reach out to the authorities have also been unsuccessful.

I kindly request the authorities concerned to urgently address this issue without further delay. It is crucial to resolve the problem before sewage water overflows onto the busy road, posing a potential hazard to the public. Immediate action is needed to ensure the safety and well-being of residents and commuters in the area.
