Foundation laid for new Muslim Boys Orphanage

Mysuru: The foundation stone for the new building of Muslim Boys Orphanage (Apna Ghar), was laid by Hazrath Moulana Mufthi Syed Tajuddin in city recently.

The new building will be given on rent to Huda Public School which is serving the poor and needy students in the premises of Apna Ghar since nine years which at present has the strength of 1,720 students studying from nursery to PUC.

The new building will be constructed at an approximate cost of Rs.1.50 crore grant from Karnataka State Wakf Board. Tanveer Sait, President of Muslim Boys (Apna Ghar)  and Girls (Phulwari) Orphanages and MLA, was the chief guest.

Ariff A. Mehkri, Chairman, Mysore District Wakf Advisory Committee, N. Anwar Pasha, Prof. Iftekhar Ahmed, Warden of Apna Ghar, Prof. Naseemuddin, Prof. Nabi Jan, Social Workers Khaleel Ur Rahman, Sunni Maqbool, Mahmod Ali Khan, Irshad Baig, Sayeed Ahmed and Abdul Khader Sait, President, Mysore Educational, Social, Economic and Cultural Organisation and inmates of Muslim Boys Orphanage were present.
