Mysore/Mysuru: The city’s KMPK Charitable Trust, in association with Bhramhibootha Sri Vasudev Maharaj Foundation, will be conducting a free ‘Aksharabhyasa’ programme for kids (training kids in writing alphabets), at Maharshi Public School in Vishveshwaranagar here at 8 am on Feb. 26.
Announcing this at a press meet here on Monday, KMPK Charitable Trust Secretary Ajay Shastri said that the programme is free and is open to kids from all castes and communities.
Kids aged between 2 and 5 years can take part along with their parents and the required stationery will be provided free of cost, he said.

Ajay Shastri further said that MLA S.A. Ramdas will inaugurate the programme in the presence of Sri Govindananda Saraswathi Swamiji of Sri Balakrishnananda Mahasansthanam, Talkad.
Maharshi Educational Institutions Executive Officer Tejas Shankar, KMPK Trust President Vikram Iyengar, Cartoonist M.V. Nagendra Babu (Banter Babu), Jeevadhara Blood Bank’s Girish and Kadakola Jagadish were present at the press meet.
