Mysuru: As part of World Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Bharath Hospital and Institute of Oncology (BHIO) is organising a free clinical breast cancer screening camp to promote early detection and prevention from Oct. 13 to 20 daily between 10 am and 4 pm at its premises on Hebbal Ring Road in city.
The initiative aims to create awareness about the importance of regular check-ups and self-examination among women.
Experienced oncologists and specialists from the hospital will provide free consultations, clinical breast examinations and guidance on screening methods such as mammography.
Educational sessions will also be conducted to help women understand the symptoms, risk factors and lifestyle changes that can reduce the chances of developing breast cancer. Apart from this 50 percent discount is also given on Mammography.
The hospital encourages women of all age groups, especially those above 40 years, to take advantage of this opportunity and prioritise their health.
