Free coaching class for Judges’ appointment written exam concludes

Mysore/Mysuru: Maintaining that all those who come to serve the Judiciary have to make some sacrifices in order to render justice to the aggrieved, District Family Court Judge H.M. Virupakshaiah observed that it is important for Judges and advocates to work together in judicial services.

He was speaking at the valedictory of the 10-day free coaching class for District Judges and Assistant Public Prosecutors recruitment written exam, organised jointly by Mysore Bar Association and Law Guide Kannada legal monthly magazine at JSS Law College here on Saturday.

Judge Virupakshaiah also stressed on the need for Judges and Prosecutors to develop relentless reading habit and making notes, in order to keep themselves updated with the latest legal developments.

Former District Judge and Karnataka State Judiciary Training Institute faculty S.R. Somashekar, in his address, lauded  Mysore Bar Association and Law Guide for organising this  special coaching workshop, which he said was highly beneficial for the aspirants. He wished that more such coaching classes are organised in the future too.

Advocate H.G. Krishnamurthy said that the coaching class was organised without seeking any returns. Apart from conducting free coaching classes, all the participants were provided free food, he added.

Law Guide Editor and Senior Advocate H.N. Venkatesh was felicitated on the occasion.

Mysore Bar Association President M. Mahadevaswamy, Secretary S. Umesh, senior advocates M.S. Savithri, M.D. Harish Kumar Hegde, G. Lokesh, G.V. Ramamurthy, R. Girijesh and others were present.
