Mysuru: A free health camp was conducted for hotel owners and employees organised by Hotel Owners’ Association and Hotel Owners Association Charitable Trust in association Narayana Multi Speciality Hospital at the association premises in Krishnamurthypuram here this morning.
Owners and workers of various hotels across the city participated in the health camp. A three-member doctors team checked the members for problems related to heart, lungs, kidneys, bone and joints, cancer and health issues related to women.
The participants also went through various test including FCG, ECHO, Blood Test, Pap Smear Teat (for women) among others.
Inaugurating the heath camp, DC D. Randeep urged the participants to adopt healthy lifestyle for healthy living. Stating that medical insurance was important, the DC said that everyone must undergo regular check-up after crossing 30 years and sought the support of the association for the upcoming Yoga Day event to be held on June 21 in front of Mysore Palace.
Hospital Director M.N. Ravi, Hotel Owners Association former President M.K. Puranik, President C. Narayanagowda, Charitable Trust President Ravi Shastri, Secretary Subramanya R. Tantri and Charitable Trust Secretary A.R. Ravindra Bhat were present on the occasion.
