Mysuru: City’s Suyog Hospital, located in Ramakrishnanagar ‘E&F’ Block, is conducting a month-long free heart check-up camp for the medical fraternity till Jan.30.
Announcing this at a press meet in city, Suyog Hospital Chief Dr. S.P. Yoganna said that the camp has been organised in association with various medical organisations.
Highlighting the significance of the camp, Dr. Yoganna said that doctors who are under professional stress and strain, tend to neglect their own health, thus putting their life at risk. As such, this camp will help the doctors to have a check-up of their health, especially that of the heart. He said that the free heart tests include ECG, Echo, TMT, blood tests, etc. Angiogram and angioplasty treatments are also available for doctors at a subsidised cost, he added. The camp, which began on Jan.1, will go on till Jan.30, from 10 am to 8 pm on all days, barring Sundays, Dr. Yoganna said and added that 20 doctors can have heart check-up every day. Pointing out that there were over 2,000 registered doctors in the city, Dr. Yoganna announced that over 50 doctors have already registered for heart check-up at the camp.
