Inauguration on Sept. 10
Mysore/Mysuru: With an objective of providing legal assistance to the general public and the farming community in particular, the District legal Services Authority (DLSA) will be setting up a free Legal Aid Centre at the Tahsildar Office in Mini Vidhana Soudha at Nazarbad here.
Senior Civil Judge and DLSA Member-Secretary B.P. Devamane will inaugurate the Centre at 11 am on Sept. 10 in the presence of Tahsildar Rakshith.
The DLSA, acting on the direction of Karnataka Legal Services Authority, has set up the Legal Aid Centre to provide free legal advocacy to farmers and other members of the public on revenue matters and other such issues. An advocate will be made available at the Centre for providing free legal assistance.
Also, the establishment of the Legal Aid Centre will help in keeping middlemen at bay.
