Mysuru: In order to rejuvenate and popularise the ancient and extinct art Moodalpaaya Yakshagana, which is unique to Mysuru, Sri Mahalingeshwara Temple, K. Hemmanahalli, 9th km on Bogadi Road, Mysuru, is conducting a free Yakshagana camp from Apr. 8 at 10 am onwards at the Temple.
Those interested to learn natya, facial make-up, dialogues etc., may register their names personally at the Temple.
Sri Mahalingeshwara Moodalpaaya Yakshagana Mela already having trained 10 rural youths has given performances at Mysuru, Kalale and Kundapura.
On Apr.21 (Saturday), there will be a show Vaali Sugriva Kalaga at Sri Chamundeshwari Amma Temple, Suvarnanagar, Gouhalli, Mysuru.
