Mysore/Mysuru: The Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department under ‘National Food Security Act (NFSA) and Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyana Anna Yojana (PMGKAY) will be distributing ration for beneficiaries of Below Poverty Line (BPL) and Above Poverty Line (APL) card holders for the month of November-2022.
Under Antyodaya Anna Yojana every ration card holder will get 27 kg rice, 8 kg ragi and 5 kg rice per unit freely. Under Priority Household (PHH) BPL Scheme, every card holder will get 3 kg rice and 2 kg ragi per unit while under necessity 5 kg rice for free will be provided per unit.
Under Non-Priority House Holds (NPHH) Scheme, every APL card holder will get 5 kg rice at Rs. 15 per kg. If APL card is linked to two or more people, 10 kg rice will be provided at all ration shops. From 1st of every month till the end of the month from 7 am to 12 pm and from 4 pm to 8 pm ration will be distributed at all ration shops under NFSA and PMGKAY.
Ration card holders must link to E-KYC from 1st to 10th of the month. There will be no extra fee for linking E-KYC. Those who have availed ration under all these Schemes should not sell it. Case will be registered against them under the Essential Commodities Act, 1955. People may register complaints, if any, regarding distribution of ration, at their respective Tahsildar’s Office or at the Office of Joint Director, Food Dept.
