Mysuru Dog Breeders Welfare Association has organised a free vaccination drive for pet dogs in city on Sept. 19.
Addressing a press meet at Patrakarthara Bhavan in city yesterday, BJP leader B.P. Manjunath, who is the Hon. President of the Association said that as vaccines for pet dogs were in short supply following COVID-19 pandemic, many pet dog owners were unable to get their dogs vaccinated and hence the Association along with the Department of Animal Husbandry has organised the free vaccination drive.
Continuing, Manjunath said that the vaccination drive will be held between 10 am and 1 pm at the Veterinary Hospital premises in Chamundipuram during which awareness on myths surrounding COVID-19 and dogs would be created besides providing tips on taking care of pet dogs and its health.
