I have been residing in Kuvempunagar locality since 1985. This letter is mainly focused to address the frequent blockage of UGD pipeline in 9th Cross, Navilu Road, A-B Block, Kuvempunagar.
Drainage blocking is frequent in our locality (9th Cross Navilu Road) and have lodged a number of complaints regarding this problem through MUDA complaint cell (+91-94498 41196). At times our requests are attended to but many times they do not turn up.
We feel that the technical / laying work carried out in our road is not proper. The drainage chambers are not built and the slope for the flow is not maintained which is causing such an inconvenience for all the residents.
This drainage blocking is observed after the Government took up new laying of UGD pipelines in our locality. I had visited the concerned office in Kuvempunagar (Opp. Prerana Hospital) and met the concerned engineer. I discussed with him and conveyed our problems about UGD and he assured me that he will be present during the drainage clearing work. Later he did not turn up.
Since we all are facing the blockage issue frequently, I would like to request our area Corporator to take up the matter as soon as possible and provide a decent service to the tax-paying public.
