Funds diverted to implement Guarantee Schemes: R. Raghu

Mysore/Mysuru: State BJP OBC Morcha President R. Raghu Kautilya likened State Congress Government to ‘Old newspaper and bottles’ which will surely end up in gujri (scrap yard) after the results of Lok Sabha elections is out.

Addressing media persons at City BJP Office in Chamarajapuram yesterday, Raghu said “The previous BJP Government had allocated more funds for various Boards and Corporations to safeguard the interests of backward classes. It was helpful in financially empowering beneficiaries. Now, the Congress Government is diverting most of the chunk of funds towards implementation of its Guarantee Schemes, by cutting down the funds earmarked for Boards and Corporations, sacrificing the welfare of backward classes.”

The people who are satisfied with the contributions of BJP Government and the achievements of Prime Minister Narendra Modi are eager to bring the party back to power.

The party workers are involved in campaigning with the slogan ‘Modi Again’ to the overwhelming response of the people while the Congress is involved in negative publicity and advertisement of lies, only to mislead the masses, he added.
