Mandya: Mandya SP Sudheer Kumar Reddy has been transferred and posted as SP of Dakshina Kannada.
Reddy will be replaced by G. Radhika, who is currently serving as DCP (Law and Order), Belagavi City. As Mandya SP, Reddy had taken strict action against gambling, sand mining and other illegal activities.
Reddy had also initiated transfer of Policemen who had been serving in a single Police Station for over 10 years and his transfer amidst this initiative, has given rise to many suspicions, it is said.
