G.S. Somashekar back as BCM Welfare Department District Officer

Mysuru:  G.S. Somashekar has re-assumed charge as the District Officer of Backward Classes and Minorities (BCM) Welfare Department here recently.

Somashekar, who was serving as the District Officer earlier, was transferred to Mandya ahead of the Assembly polls, based on the direction of the Election Commission.

Now that the elections are over and a new Government is in place, Somashekar re-assumed charge as the District Officer from Renukamba, who has been posted to Mandya.
