Gangamma (87), wife of late Lingaiah, who served in the Police Department and a resident of KSRTC Layout near Alanahalli, passed away here early this morning.
She leaves behind her son S.L. Umamaheshwara, Assistant Administrative Officer (AAO) at Office of the Mysuru City Police Commissioner, daughters Renukadevi and M.L. Yogeshwari, grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. Cremation took place at Harishchandra Ghat at the foot of Chamundi Hill this evening.
